Kindly suggest me can i enable innodb_flush_method in my mysql server.
Server type - Physical
Data Directory - mapped to SAN storage with out Raid
Memory - 16GB
CPU Core - 8 Core
Hello kalasha,
Some benchmarks show that innodb_flush_method = O_DIRECT works best with direct attached storage but not with SAN.
If this is true for your case you have to find out by proper benchmarking.
